PERN BAAN is the vision of Thai-American designer Robert Sukrachand, whose work explores the intersection of Eastern heritage and Western design. Rooted in both New York and Thailand, the studio specializes in artisan-made lighting and home décor born from cross-cultural collaboration.

After years of crafting bespoke furniture in Brooklyn, Robert returned to Thailand to build a community where global designers and Thai artisans could co-create meaningful objects. Each piece reflects a dialogue between modern design and traditional Thai craftsmanship—objects that tell stories of identity, place, and connection. At PERN BAAN, design is more than form; it’s a bridge between cultures, crafted one piece at a time.
