Compact in scale yet visually powerful, the altar features a deeply sculpted frontal relief depicting a dynamic narrative scene of figures in motion—possibly warriors, guardians, or auspicious characters—rendered in high relief and animated postures. The surface retains layers of aged red, black, and earthen pigments, with areas of natural loss that reveal the wood beneath, contributing to its sculptural depth and historic character.
The upper section is framed by simple posts and a back panel, originally intended to support ritual objects, incense holders, or small ancestral tablets.
