About

Handwoven Mudmee Silk Feat. Flat Piping Square Cushion - Dark Purple

This rectangular cushion features a deep black base woven with narrow vertical tribal stripes in red, violet, olive, and ochre. The geometric accents nestled between the stripes evoke motifs used by hill tribe artisans of Northern Thailand or Laos, particularly among the Tai Lue or Hmong communities. Its compact rhythm and rich yet muted palette offer a grounding, textured layer in both modern and rustic interiors. Likely handcrafted in the early 21st century.
