A fine pair of tall baluster vases decorated in the famille rose palette, each hand-painted with a scene of beauties in a garden pavilion. The elegant courtly figures are depicted amidst flowering trees, rocks, and butterflies, evoking refinement and the pleasures of nature. Applied orange lion-head handles symbolise power and protection, adding a sculptural accent to the shoulders. The surfaces are brightly coloured with a clear glaze, enhancing both vibrancy and depth.
