A beautifully carved oxcart ornament from Burma, traditionally mounted either between a pair of oxen or along the front of the cart as a protective and decorative element. This sculptural piece features an elegant combination of zoomorphic forms — a stylised bird rising at one end and a dog-like creature at the other — rendered with fluid curves and finely incised feather and fur details.
