About

Ziegler Carpet l 270 x 180cm

Ziegler design rugs, sometimes known as Chobbi rugs, were originally developed in 1883 by Ziegler & Co., a German company based in Manchester, England, using master weavers and designers from Iran and Europe to create rugs with softer palettes tailored to the western market. This rug features a refined blend of ivory, light beige, soft greige, and muted pale blue tones with delicate all-over floral and vine motifs framed by an elegant border pattern, giving it a timeless, airy appearance that works beautifully with both contemporary and traditional interiors. Crafted using vegetable dyes and 100% hand-spun sheep wool, Ziegler rugs are celebrated for their fine craftsmanship, subtle distressed character, and sophisticated neutral colour schemes.
