Vintage Dentist Practice Head

An authentic vintage dental teaching model, comprising a cast metal head with an articulated lower jaw fitted with a full set of dentures, mounted on an adjustable metal armature with a long horizontal support rod. Originally used to train dental students in examining bite alignment and jaw movement, the hinged jaw allows the mouth to open and close to simulate a real patient. A genuinely functional piece of dental history, its stripped-back, mechanical form giving it a striking sculptural presence outside of its original clinical context.
