A true icon of Mid-Century Modern and Scandinavian design, the Super-Ellipse Table is one of the most celebrated furniture designs in modern history. Originally designed by Piet Hein, Bruno Mathsson, and Arne Jacobsen, this authentic vintage piece was produced by the renowned Danish furniture manufacturer Fritz Hansen in 1995, complete with its original “Made in Denmark” label beneath the tabletop.

The revolutionary “Super-Ellipse” shape was developed using a mathematical formula by Danish mathematician and poet Piet Hein. Unlike a standard oval table, the Super-Ellipse form creates perfectly balanced curves that maximize seating efficiency while maintaining a harmonious and elegant silhouette. Every seat around the table feels equally connected, with no awkward corner positions, making it ideal for both dining and conversation.

The iconic “Spanleg” chrome legs, designed by Bruno Mathsson, are another standout feature. Lightweight yet structurally strong, the double-wire chrome frame provides stability, flexibility, and a visually minimalist appearance while allowing easy assembly and disassembly.

The tabletop features a soft off-white finish with subtle natural wood grain textures, creating a clean Scandinavian aesthetic that feels warm, refined, and timeless.

An integrated extension system beneath the table allows the tabletop to expand smoothly with extension leaves, transforming it from a medium-sized dining table into a large entertaining or conference table suitable for multiple guests.
