About

Sacred Ganesha and the Silver Mushika

A magnificent Ganesha sculpture, intricately carved from a single piece of burl wood, showcasing divine craftsmanship and spiritual symbolism. His head, ears, hands, and legs are masterfully forged from sterling silver, while his jade-studded eyes radiate wisdom and serenity. The deity's headband, adorned with turquoise and red coral, is meticulously crafted from sterling silver with gold leaf detailing, adding a touch of regal splendour. His partially silver trunk, along with his prayer bead necklace, bracelet, and gold-leaf sterling silver anklet, further enhance the intricate detailing of this sacred masterpiece. Standing atop his loyal Mushika (rat), the revered mount of Ganesha, the sculpture is elegantly set on a black granite stand, grounding the piece with strength and stability. This extraordinary creation took eight master craftsmen a combined three months to bring to life— from conceptualising its unique design and meticulously sculpting the wood to refining the finest silverwork and embellishments. A true timeless work of art, this Ganesha embodies both spiritual grace and artisanal excellence.
