About

Phud Phad Floor Lamp

Balancing symmetry and craft, the Phud Phad Floor Lamp reinterprets Thai krajood weaving through bold color blocks and refined composition. The lamp’s elongated oval form features alternating panels of handwoven krajood (reed) from Narathiwat Province, dyed using non-chemical natural pigments from Chiang Mai. Contrasting tones of crimson, violet, and natural reed create a rhythmic visual pattern that comes alive when illuminated. Framed in matte black metal, this sculptural lamp blends tradition with contemporary design — an artful expression of light and texture.
