This antique Chinese altar table, likely from the late Qing dynasty (19th–early 20th century), features intricate openwork carvings, a long and narrow form, and elegantly proportioned legs, reflecting the Ming and Qing dynasty furniture traditions. Traditionally used in temples, ancestral halls, or homes for ancestor worship, these tables held offerings, incense burners, or religious statues, though they now serve as decorative console tables in modern interiors.
