About

Late December 001

The Timeless and Late December collections are a reflection of the artist’s deep connection to the past and the enduring value of memory. By reimagining reclaimed materials from old homes, the artist breathes new life into remnants of the past, transforming them into meaningful, living pieces of art. These collections honor not only the materials but also the stories they carry—stories that evoke a sense of nostalgia and continuity.

Inspired by the Tenderly's grandfather’s house, a place of profound personal significance, the collections draw from the annual visits that shaped their sense of belonging and growth. The house, visited only once a year in late December, became a touchstone for the artist’s roots and identity. Just as the reclaimed materials are reshaped into something new, so too have the memories of those visits been reinterpreted to create pieces that reflect both the past and the present.

Through these collections, the artist invites others to reflect on the memories and spaces that have shaped them, encouraging a deeper appreciation for the enduring essence of the places and people who influence our lives. Each piece serves as a reminder that, while time may change us, the spirit of what came before remains an integral part of who we are.

Tenderly Studio

TENDERLY is the vision of an artist who honors the profound beauty of nature’s most authentic forms while contemplating the quiet elegance of humble furniture. Each creation is born from a dedicated exploration of the materials’ intrinsic essence, a journey to uncover their deepest potential.

The artist believes that the soul of the wood lies not merely in its form, but in its capacity for transformation. When the wood's origin is rooted in a living essence, the artist seeks to liberate its hidden potential, nurturing it to evolve in harmony with the rhythms of nature. This process of recreation is not just an act of craftsmanship—it is a resurrection, breathing new life into the material, forever connected to its original spirit, yet reimagined in a fresh and meaningful embodiment. Through this transformative approach, the artist creates pieces that are not just furniture, but living works of art, infused with a sense of timelessness and reverence for the natural world.
