A sculptural carved ornament from a traditional Burmese oxcart, originally forming part of the decorative curved frame.

The dramatic crescent shape follows the elegant arc typical of Burmese bullock carts, which were often richly embellished despite their practical function. The upper section displays hand-carved foliate detailing and a stylized avian or mythical motif, reflecting the pride and craftsmanship embedded in rural Burmese woodworking traditions.

Oxcarts were both utilitarian and symbolic — serving as essential transport while also expressing regional identity and artistry. Today, this fragment stands as a striking architectural sculpture with strong movement and presence.
