This exquisite wood trunk ornate chair is a fine hand carved work from Chiang Mai, Thailand, and is crafted from durable Teakwood, a common and resilient timber of the region. The style of this chair are inspried from the Naga tribe of eastern India. The style of the chair can be dated back to the 1900s. Traditionally, the Naga locals would use the chair in their households. Additionally, this particular chair is carved from a single log of Teakwood without the use of nails or patchwork, showcasing unparalleled craftsmanship and attention to detail. This one-of-a-kind piece embodies the richness and artistic workmanship of the Chiang Mai carpenter.
