About

Stingray Leather Barey Table Lamp L 69

The lamp base is crafted from a solid cylindrical core and meticulously clad in hand-applied shagreen (stingray leather), dyed in a soft rose hue. Each panel of shagreen is carefully cut, aligned, and bonded by hand to create a continuous surface with subtle tonal variation and a refined tactile texture. The naturally pebbled grain of the stingray skin provides durability while giving the piece its distinctive, luxurious character.

The lamp is fitted with a metal stem and electrical components, finished in a dark tone to provide contrast and structural stability. It is paired with a tailored cylindrical fabric shade, designed to diffuse light evenly and soften the visual weight of the base. The combination of traditional leather craftsmanship and clean, contemporary form reflects a balance between artisanal technique and modern decorative design.
