About

Chinese Art Deco Rosewood & Leather Armchair with Pearl Inlay - Reproduction

A striking armchair that embodies both craftsmanship and comfort, this piece showcases a sculptural Art Deco influence with its sweeping rosewood arms, shell-like carved detailing, and bold geometric form. The frame is handcrafted from 100% solid rosewood, renowned for its depth of tone and natural luster. Each curve is accentuated by Wild Pearl inlays, meticulously set by hand and imported from New Zealand and Australia, adding a refined iridescence to the design.

The seat and backrest are upholstered in smooth butter-tan leather, tufted for a plush yet structured appearance. The combination of the warm wood grain, soft leather, and opalescent inlay creates a composition that feels both regal and contemporary.
Perfect as a statement lounge chair or collector’s piece, this armchair bridges tropical craftsmanship and timeless Art Deco elegance—suited for sophisticated interiors seeking a touch of sculptural warmth.

Note: This piece is a brand-new reproduction of antique Chinese furniture, created with modern craftsmanship while honoring historical design traditions.
