About

Dressed Air, Picnic Set

Dressed en Plein Air Picnic Set reimagines outdoor dining as an exercise in classic elegance and contemporary utility. Designed by the renowned Marcel Wanders, the collection centers on a finely woven, earthy brown wicker basket lined with tailored fabric and secure fastening ties. Inside, traditional craft meets modern materialism: white melamine dinner plates and soup bowls display clean, minimalist silhouettes on their surfaces, while hiding Wanders’ signature baroque, filigree-like relief patterns on their hidden undersides. Flanked by durable, glass-clear thermoplastic resin tumblers and matching durable cutlery, the components fit together in a harmonious juxtaposition of rustic woven textures and pristine, smooth finishes—offering a visually sophisticated, plastic-free alternative for the modern epicurean.
