A collection of five vintage batik printing blocks (cap) from the Dutch East Indies, each hand-carved and fitted with fine metal strips and pins forming intricate floral and foliate patterns, traditionally used to stamp wax-resist designs onto cloth in the batik dyeing process. The varied sizes and motifs make this a versatile decorative or collector's grouping with genuine craft history.
