About

"Bombe" Coffee Pot

Designed by Carlo Alessi in 1945, its defining visual trait is its heavy, globose body—a highly polished 18/10 stainless steel shell that catches the light like a perfect sphere of liquid chrome. This smooth, mirror-finished dome sits anchored on a low, integrated base, extending into an elegantly arched, dripless pouring spout. Striking a stark material contrast, the pot features a dramatic, matte-black Bakelite handle and lid knob. The sweeping, oversized handle curves outwards in a structural silhouette that is both highly ergonomic and visually arresting, serving as a graphic anchor to the gleaming metal body below.
