About

Barkvase, Flower Vase

A striking intersection of organic poetry and industrial precision. Designed by Michael Boucquillon and Donia Maaoui, this sculptural piece features a cylindrical outer sleeve crafted from laser-cut, mirror-polished 18/10 stainless steel. Its intricate, skeletal perforations are designed to emulate the natural grain and sinuous knots of tree bark. Nestled inside this metallic trunk is a removable, clear glass container that safely holds water and stems. When filled, the flowers peek through the open metalwork, visually transforming the rigid steel into a living, blooming "tree of life" where industrial craft harmoniously dialogues with nature.
