About

Untitled #2 - Acrylic on Burlap

Thaiwijit Puengkasemsomboon is a celebrated contemporary Thai artist known for his vibrant abstract expressionist works and sculptural compositions created from recycled and found materials. His practice is driven by intuition, movement, and a joyful use of colour, resulting in works that feel raw, playful, and deeply alive. Blending influences from art brut, primitive art, and African aesthetics, Thaiwijit transforms discarded wood, metal, fabric, and industrial remnants into expressive forms that blur the boundaries between painting and sculpture. At the heart of his work is a belief in renewal—revealing beauty, hope, and new life within the overlooked and the ordinary.

This artwork is a one-of-a-kind piece, uniquely created and not reproduced.
