The base is particularly notable. The upper tier is adorned with a Greek-key (leiwen) pattern, a motif long associated with continuity and order in Chinese decorative arts. Beneath, the lower section features openwork cutouts and scrolling cloud forms—auspicious symbols linked to harmony, elevation, and the celestial realm.
