About

Chinese Cabinet Featuring Salvaged Door with Poem Inscription

This tall cabinet beautifully unites the soul of antique design with modern functionality. At its heart is a salvaged door panel from an old Chinese cabinet that could not be restored, now reimagined with purpose and artistry. The hand-painted calligraphy inscribed across the panel translates to a poetic verse celebrating peace, longevity, and the beauty of nature:

“A breeze flows through the orchid room in springtime,
Sunlight shines on the pine gate at dawn.”

Crafted from durable fir wood and finished in antique green and red lacquer, the cabinet includes adjustable shelves for versatile storage. Each piece is truly one-of-a-kind, carrying both history and cultural meaning—an ideal choice for homes that value storytelling through design.
