Japanese Samurai Kabuto Miniature Helmets - Set of 5

A set of five finely crafted miniature kabuto helmets, each modelled after traditional samurai headgear. Fashioned in cast metal with gilt crests (maedate), the helmets feature iconic forms such as crescent moons, clan emblems, and arrow motifs, long associated with power, protection, and warrior spirit. While full-sized kabuto once protected samurai in battle and proclaimed status, miniature versions were created as commemorative objects—often gifted on Children’s Day (Tango no Sekku) to symbolise strength and courage.

Today, these pieces can be reimagined as decorative accents on a bookshelf, conversation pieces for a study or office, or symbols of resilience and heritage in a modern home. Compact yet commanding, they bridge past and present, bringing the enduring spirit of the samurai into contemporary living.
