About

Candlestick

Striking a masterful balance between industrial utilitarianism and contemporary sculpture, the Alessi Candlestick Collection redefines everyday homeware as a high-design gallery piece. Characterized by its pristine, uncompromising geometry, the collection features designs like Virgil Abloh’s Conversational Objects, which takes visual cues from mechanical workshop bolts, and Peter Zumthor’s minimalist PZ02 crafted from seamlessly turned aluminum. The metallic finishes boast a tactile, low-sheen satin quality that diffuses catching light, allowing the bold, brutalist vertical column to slice elegantly through modern spaces. Balanced on a perfectly proportioned, wide circular base, the holder transitions smoothly from a functional table centerpiece to a standalone architectural accent. Its clean-lined silhouette acts as a dramatic canvas for the fluid, organic warmth of a burning flame, transforming an ordinary dining ritual into an intentional aesthetic experience.
