About

Living Collection Log Stool (L) - Polished Brass - Surround Living x Masaya

Masaya x Surround Living: The Living Collection
Burned brass meets sculpted form. Each piece reveals gilded bronze tones and irregular contours shaped by the lost-wax casting process — an ancient technique reimagined through Masaya’s modern craft. Inspiring us to create The Living Collection together, the results are objects that glow with antique, time-aged warmth and contemporary character — a series of one-off and limited-edition creations made exclusively for Surround Living.

Among them, The Log Stool draws inspiration from the natural form of fallen logs, reinterpreted through the refined elegance of polished brass. Its organic silhouette and fluid curves blur the line between sculpture and furniture — functioning beautifully as a stool or low side table. A testament to nature’s raw geometry, reborn through craft.
