About

The Last Ray at Sunset

When everything around us is always in motion, becoming an observer can help reveal the hidden wonders of nature more clearly. The 'Green Ray' is one such rare phenomenon, lasting only for a fleeting 1 to 2 seconds just before the sun sets. It happens because of the refraction of light in the atmosphere, which splits sunlight into different colors. The green light, visible in clear skies, creates an optical illusion that briefly takes the form of a green ray. Since nature is too complex to fully understand all at once, we sometimes need to wait and observe patiently to uncover its truth.

TENDERLY is the vision of an artist who honors the profound beauty of nature’s most authentic forms while contemplating the quiet elegance of humble furniture. Each creation is born from a dedicated exploration of the materials’ intrinsic essence, a journey to uncover their deepest potential.

The artist believes that the soul of the wood lies not merely in its form, but in its capacity for transformation. When the wood's origin is rooted in a living essence, the artist seeks to liberate its hidden potential, nurturing it to evolve in harmony with the rhythms of nature. This process of recreation is not just an act of craftsmanship—it is a resurrection, breathing new life into the material, forever connected to its original spirit, yet reimagined in a fresh and meaningful embodiment. Through this transformative approach, the artist creates pieces that are not just furniture, but living works of art, infused with a sense of timelessness and reverence for the natural world.
