About

Pair of Turkmen Silver & Cornelian Fibulae

A striking pair of traditional Turkmen fibulae, crafted in silver and set with warm cornelian stones. Worn by Turkmen women to fasten their robes, these leaf-shaped ornaments embody both adornment and protection, with their cascading dangles creating a soft, rhythmic sound as the wearer moved. Each fibula features fine stamped detailing and bezel-set cornelian, a gemstone long associated with vitality and good fortune across Central Asia. Beautifully preserved and mounted together, they make a powerful decorative statement—sculptural, symbolic, and highly collectible.
